Philosophy

At Carolina Kids Academy, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to develop to his or her full potential. There are many aspects of a child’s educational environment that play an important role in establishing a solid foundation for learning which include but are not limited to:
  • A staff that is knowledgeable, educated, and experienced in early childhood education and child development
  • A curriculum that encourages children to be actively involved in learning processes, to experience a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials, and to pursue their own interests.
  • Positive interactions between children and staff provide opportunities for children to develop trust and respect for themselves and others.
  • The health and safety of the children and adults should always take top priority in every situation.  A high quality program acts to prevent illness and accidents and also educates children in good health practices.
